Preparation of the first transport
Forest fires and lack of drinking water in Sardinia, floods in Slovenia.
Both disasters are only a few hundred kilometers away.
It wasn’t so long ago that the pictures from the Ahr valley were all over the media.
Once again, images of flooding, parts of houses, cars and objects floating away can be seen in the media.
Slovenia is under water, people no longer have houses, children no toys.
We have to help!
The people from Slovenia now need the donations and willingness to help that was evident during the disaster in the Ahr valley.
We will help! We need you for this!
Since Saturday, we have been planning, organizing and networking in order to send a transport with relief supplies to the affected areas as quickly as possible.
Network partners of “Fortuner Hilft e.V.” are on site and organize storage facilities, record requirements and compile lists of items that are needed locally.
We ourselves from the ZIVD e.V. will be going on a tour on Saturday. Help us to fill the cars with donations so that we can deliver them directly to the affected people in Slovenia.
Please understand that we only accept donations that are on our needs lists.
Only in this way we can guarantee that every donation is needed and arrives.
In addition to the Amazon shopping list, there is also the option of handing in required donations in kind by post or directly by arrangement. It does not necessarily have to be new goods.
Once again, please only use items that are on the requirements list. We currently have no storage facilities for donations that we cannot take with us on the transport.
