Friends of “Fortuna Hilft e.V.” Markus Kern, expert for water damage, for an assignment in the flood area. He has been in Rečice ob Savinji for the past few days to help with his expert knowledge and flood experience.
We are therefore already preparing the 2nd transport. As soon as we have a full load, a driver sets off so that people can get the help they need quickly.
Last weekend, we delivered the first consignment of relief supplies to the flood areas in Slovenia.
Together with our local partners from “Fortuna Hilft”, we were able to send the first transport to a small village on the Austrian/Slovenian border with the support of “Dogs United”. The flood disaster in Slovenia shows once again the effects of climate change and that we can only manage to alleviate the consequences of the suffering caused by increasingly frequent natural disasters if we work together.

The earthquake in the Turkish-Syrian border region has taken everything from many people. This is also the case in a village near Kahramanmaras, where almost all the houses have been irrevocably destroyed and the people are now in urgent need of help.
Now help is needed quickly, because everything is missing.
Through our support projects and friends, we have personal contacts in the affected areas and so we receive direct calls for help that we cannot and do not want to ignore.
